About Magaling Tayo Kids!

We are children who believe that all of us, especially are fellow kids, can be heroes, entrepreneurs, and community leaders.
Through this blog, we hope to share this belief with everyone. We also want to show how this is possible. We will also share inspiring stories of heroes, entrepreneurs, and community leaders, who can be our guide to success.

Becoming Heroes

We are willing to help others.

We respect the elders, as well as our fellow children.

We protect Mother Earth by following the 4Rs (reduce, recycle, re-use, and restore), joining campaigns that aim to conserve resources (water, electricity, etc).

We study well.

We share our talent and knowledge to others, especially to those who are out of school, or have no access to school.

Becoming Entrepreneurs

We are responsible with our money, time, and resources.

We look at problems as opportunities or challenges to overcome.

We do our best but are not afraid of failure.

We support businesses that help the community and Mother Earth.

Beconing Community Leaders

We encourage everyone to be community leaders.

As community leaders, we believe in service with humility.

We believe in being role models.

Our Rights

As kids, we all have the following rights:

to grow up and to develop physically and spiritually in a healthy and normal way, free and with dignity.

to a name and to be a member of a country.

to special care and protection and to good food, housing and medical services.

to special care if handicapped in any way.

to love and understanding, preferably from parents and family, but from the government where these cannot help.

to go to school for free, to play, and to have an equal chance to develop yourself and to learn to be responsible and useful. Our parents have special responsibilities for your education and guidance.

to always be among the first to get help.

to be protected against cruel acts or exploitation. We shall not be obliged to do work which hinders our development both physically and mentally. We should not work before a minimum age and never when that would hinder our health, and our moral and physical development.

to be taught peace, understanding, tolerance and friendship among all people.
